The data shows that farmers in Kerala are getting higher prices for their produce over the years. However, the cost of farming and living has also gone up a lot. While the money they earn has increased, their expenses have increased even more. In 2010, for every ₹100 farmers spent, they earned ₹52. In 2024, they earn ₹54.40 for every ₹100 spent. This means their profit has not improved much in 14 years. Even though prices have gone up, the benefits to farmers have stayed almost the same.
