Commenced Enterprises in Trade Sector


Over 2.5 lakh enterprises were started in the trade sector, with major contributions from Stores/Supermarkets, Agro food, and Garments, together generating over 2.3 lakh jobs. Stores/Supermarkets alone account for the highest investment (₹4,144 crore) and employment (1.36 lakh). While sectors like Electronics, Pharmaceuticals, and Construction materials show moderate growth, emerging fields like Biotechnology and Renewable Energy remain small but promising.
