Conclusions

•             Possible Shifts in Migration Trends: The data suggests that emigration from certain districts, especially urban ones like Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, and Kannur, has decreased significantly. This could indicate changes in emigration patterns, possibly due to local employment opportunities or other socioeconomic factors influencing people to stay.

•             Increase in Rural Emigration: Districts like Kottayam and Kollam show an increase in emigration, which may point to economic pressures or other factors in these regions prompting more people to seek opportunities abroad.

•             Consistent Low Emigration in Certain Areas: Districts like Idukki and Wayanad, which have a lower emigrant population, may have limited emigration due to local demographics, fewer connections to international migration networks, or other social factors.
