District wise Actual Rainfall, Normal rainfall and Percentage of departure for 2024


In 2024, Kerala saw unusually high rainfall during the winter and pre-monsoon seasons, with most districts receiving excess or large excess rainfall. However, rainfall during the main Southwest Monsoon was generally normal, though some districts like Idukki and Ernakulam saw less than expected. The Northeast Monsoon was mostly deficient across the state. Overall, the year began with heavy rains but ended with Rainfall weaker monsoon showers in many parts of Kerala.
