  • Locomotor Disability is the most common (32.89%), followed by Multiple Disability (17.31%) and Mental Illness (12.72%), which together make up over 60% of the total disabled population.

  • Gender distribution is skewed towards males (55%), compared to females (45%), while transgender representation is very minimal (0.15%).

  • Sensory disabilities such as Blindness, Low Vision, and Hearing Impairment together contribute to nearly 18% of all reported disabilities.

  • Rare conditions (Muscular Dystrophy, Haemophilia, Thalassemia, Sickle Cell Anaemia, Multiple Sclerosis) collectively account for less than 1% of cases.
