Investment in Central PSUs (selected States in gross block, as on 31-03-2020)


As of 31 March 2020, total CPSU investment in India stood at ₹30.52 lakh crore. Maharashtra led with 8.57%, followed by Uttar Pradesh (7.27%) and Tamil Nadu (6.71%). Odisha, Gujarat, and Chhattisgarh also had notable shares (5–6%). Most other major states contributed 3–4%, while smaller shares were seen in Haryana, Delhi, and Kerala (about 2.5%). The “Others” category accounted for the highest share at 20.9%, showing a broad spread of investments across states.
