Observations on District-wise Departmental Sales Outlets and Sales under Kerala Khadi and Village Industries Board (Rs in Lakh):

  • The total number of sales outlets increased slightly from 185 in 2022-23 to 190 in 2023-24, while total sales decreased from 5130.06 lakh to 4979.97 lakh.

  • Ernakulam recorded the highest sales in both years, reaching 745.31 lakh in 2023-24 from 699.18 lakh in 2022-23.

  • PKC (Kannur & Kasargod) had the largest number of outlets (41 in 2023-24) and substantial sales, though total sales decreased from 1363.05 lakh to 1208.64 lakh.

  • Wynadu reported the lowest sales, decreasing further from 67 lakh in 2022-23 to 50.16 lakh in 2023-24.

  • Some districts, like Kottayam and Kollam, had a slight increase or stable number of outlets but experienced a decline in sales.
