Details of Joint Stock Companies Working in Kerala


In 2023–24, Kerala’s joint stock companies grew from 56,290 to 61,741, with 5,889 new registrations and a net addition of 5,451 after closures and transfers. A few companies converted between public and private status. Government companies increased from 178 to 181, with three new registrations and none were wound up. Overall, the sector exhibits steady growth, although data on women-led enterprises is lacking.
