Category of Units Started in Enterprises: District-wise Analysis



•    This data provides the number of enterprises formed across different districts in Kerala, categorized into manufacturing, service, and trade sectors. 
•    Thiruvananthapuram leads with the highest total number of enterprises (6,569), having a significant number of service units (3,201) and a good distribution across trade and manufacturing.
•    Kollam comes second with 4,901 total enterprises, driven by the trade sector (2,743 units).
•    Alappuzha and Ernakulam are closely following with 5,031 and 5,755 enterprises respectively. Alappuzha has a strong presence in manufacturing (671), while Ernakulam excels in services (2,700).
•    Pathanamthitta and Idukki have the lowest number of enterprises (1,898 and 1,783 respectively), with lower activity across all three sectors.
•    Wayanad also has a relatively small number of enterprises (1,438), though the trade sector is the largest contributor.
•    Kozhikode and Malappuram both have a well-balanced distribution between service and trade, with over 4,500 total enterprises each.
•    Thrissur and Palakkad show moderate totals (4,435 and 4,502), with service and trade sectors contributing significantly.
