Distribution of Men and Women Work-seekers in Kerala by educational level

In Kerala (2014–2024), 90–94% of job seekers were SSLC and above, showing unemployment is concentrated among the educated. Illiterate and below-SSLC seekers declined, while higher secondary, degree, and postgraduate holders dominated. Women consistently outnumbered men, especially in degree and PG levels, highlighting a mismatch between education and job opportunities.
