  • The Aided sector has the highest total student enrolment from Standard I to X, with 2,127,066 students. This is significantly higher than the Government sector, which has 1,160,609 students, and the Un Aided (Unaided) sector, which has the lowest enrolment at 355,967 students.

  • The highest enrolment across all management types is in Standard X, with a total of 428,953 students. The total enrolment consistently increases from Standard I (298,848) to Standard IV (349,619), and similarly from Standard V (358,511) to Standard VII (398,456), and again from Standard VIII (417,704) to Standard X (428,953).

  • Within the Government schools, the highest enrolment is in Standard X (146,070), while the lowest is in Standard I (92,646). This trend of increasing enrolment from Standard I to X is visible in the Government sector's totals as well, with the L.P. stage (I-IV Total) having 411,933 students and the H.S stage (VIII-X Total) having 422,205 students.

  • The Aided sector consistently records the highest enrolment in every single Standard (I to X) compared to both the Government and Un Aided sectors. For example, in Standard I, the Aided enrolment (158,340) is almost double that of the Government (92,646) and more than five times that of the Un Aided sector (47,862).
