
From 2019 to 2024 (up to July 2024), the Rebuild Kerala Initiative (RKI) recorded a total outlay of ₹10,10,000 lakh and an expenditure of ₹4,91,996 lakh. Only less than 50% of total outlay is utilized. Major spending was in PWD Roads and Bridges (₹2,02,193 lakh) and Roads and Bridges (₹1,07,500 lakh), followed by Disaster Preparedness (₹50,229 lakh), Livelihood Support (₹35,336 lakh), Public Buildings (₹32,442 lakh), and Water Supply (₹23,484 lakh). The trend reflects RKI’s strong focus on rebuilding infrastructure and enhancing resilience across Kerala.
