MD Seats in Kerala


The data shows the number of BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) seats in Kerala. There are 6 government dental colleges in the state. Together, they offer 300 BDS seats. Govt Dental College Kannur has the highest number of seats among them, with 60 seats. The other government colleges have either 40 or 50 seats. There are also 25 private dental colleges in Kerala. Most of them have 100 seats each, while a few have 50 or 60 seats. In total, private colleges offer 2,360 seats. Kerala has 2,660 BDS seats altogether. Only about 11% of these are in government colleges. This shows that private colleges play a big role in dental education in Kerala.
