District-wise number of cases referred to the Regional Cancer Centre in the last three years

• Thiruvananthapuram had the highest number of referrals, with 4,562 cases in 2023-24.
• Kollam followed closely, with 3,459 cases in 2023-24.
• Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, and Kottayam reported moderate referral numbers, ranging from 475 to 1,012 cases in 2023-24.
• Idukki had a declining trend, with only 277 cases referred in 2023-24.
• Ernakulam, Thrissur, and Palakkad had referral numbers between 484 and 693 in 2023-24.
• Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, and Kasaragod showed smaller but notable referrals, with Wayanad at 55 and Kannur at 139 in 2023-24.
